I got fed with with uploading a sticker or an emote or a soundboard and it gives an error saying "file too large" or things of that nature. So I built three small tools that aim at Discord's exact limits and keep as much quality as they can. Very hard focus on ease of use, most tools work with 1 click.
Discord Emoji Maker- Turn any picture or GIF into a 128 x 128 emoji under 256 KB. Crop it square (fill or fit), zoom and drag to pick what stays, turn on pixel art mode for hard edges, check that the name is one Discord will accept, and preview it on dark and light themes before you download.
Discord GIF Compressor- Shrink a GIF for emoji (under 256 KB), stickers (320 x 320), avatars, banners or chat uploads (under 20 MB). It keeps the best quality that fits, and there is a trimmer for long clips.
Discord Soundboard Maker- Turn audio or video into a soundboard sound. Trim to 5 seconds, boost or normalize the volume, add fades, and get an MP3 under 512 KB.
Why it is different-
- Everything runs in your browser tab. Your files never leave your device.
- Free, no account, no sign-up.
- The Discord tools page has a full limits table for emoji, stickers, avatars, banners and uploads updated with the new limits as of September 2026.
These are part of ToolPetal, a catalog I made of 73 free browser tools with more to come in the future.
